Mountain Top Retreat

This is an amazing location in the smoky mountains. The cabin is as described and it was absolutely what we were looking for. Highly recommend!

We had a great time during our stay here. The cabin was beautiful, clean and fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking for a place to enjoy the smoky mountains!

This is our second time staying at this property and we absolutely love it. We have absolutely no complaints. The house is great, and the views are incredible. We had bear sightings almost every single day. The host are very friendly and responsive as well.

The cabin was gorgeous, clean, and had a beautiful view. Everything worked and they were responsive to every question we had.

I have to give it a 5 star just for the view , very high up in the mountain it’s breathtaking, cabin clean , wish both side of the king bed had a nightstand , it was just 2 of us , upstairs great entertainment games if you have kids .

We loved our stay! We’ve come to The Preserve Resort multiple times and appreciate its location, views and the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of nearby tourist attractions. The cabin was lovely and comfortable, and Matthew and Stacy were extraordinarily responsive to our questions both before and during our stay. Would absolutely return for a future visit.

We had an amazing stay at this house. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless. The house was very clean, well organized, and clearly well maintained, which made us feel comfortable and welcome right away.

The location is excellent, in a very quiet and peaceful area, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from everyday stress. The mountain views are absolutely beautiful and create a calm and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day. It’s the perfect place to rest, enjoy nature, and spend quality time with family or friends.

The house is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable vacation. The kitchen had all the essentials, the living areas were cozy, and everything worked perfectly. We truly felt at home and didn’t lack anything during our stay.

Overall, this is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the mountains. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, and well-located getaway.

We've stayed at several cabins in the Smoky Mountains and this one has the best view of them all! Host is also very responsive to any problems or questions.

The cabin was GREAT with amazing views! We saw bears multiple times during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at mountaintop retreat cabin. It was peaceful and kids had plenty of entertainment in the loft and at the pool. The beds were comfortable and we loved the convenience of laundry and dishwasher. It was both fun and relaxing experience and something we’re looking forward to doing again. Mathew and Stacy were great hosts and available. They responded quickly to any questions we may have had plus check in and check out were easy and fast. Thank you ?

We were the highest cabin at the preserve with the best views. We loved it and didn’t want to leave. We will be back next year!

BEAUTIFUL views! It worked perfectly for my husband 3 kids (4, 7, 10) and I. Exactly as described, clean and they supplied some basic things you’d need for a couple of days.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Everything was very clean and well organized. Our kids (ages 4 and 1) had an amazing time with the games and loved walking our dogs to take in the very scenic views. Matthew and Stacy were very quick to respond if we needed anything and very accommodating when we needed to add an extra pup! Highly recommend staying in this beautiful cabin!

It was absolutely beautiful. Due to the threat of winter weather we didn’t stay the whole time we had booked. But they were so kind and responsive.

View from the cabin was phenomenal. The price was a steal for all the amenities they had to offer. If you’re looking for a place to stay near the Smokey’s, this is where you want to be.

You really can’t beat the view from The Preserve subdivision! It was beautiful! The kids loved the game tables upstairs and there was plenty of space to sit in the floor and build legos. If there was anything that was a tiny disappointment, it would be that the fireplace was electric (guess I overlooked that in the description) and the pots and pans/coffeemaker could be updated. We had to hold down the single cup coffee maker with a jar to hold it shut and even then it struggled to make a full cup. Everything else was great though! Beds were comfy, boys loved the upper loft sleeping area, and the hot tub was a nice place to decompress at the end of the day! I’d recommend it for a small family!!

This is a wonderful vacation place! This cabin is very well furnished. Plenty of sleeping possibilities for up to 8 people - king size bed, 2 sleeper sofas, & 2 large futon mattresses in the loft. The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need for staying a few days and cooking meals. I haven't stayed anywhere with a better stocked kitchen as far as the pots/pans/miscellaneous items for preparing food. The views from this cabin are SPECTACULAR. It is worth staying here for the views alone. And it's surprisingly quiet at this cabin, despite being located in a resort with many other cabins.

We saw bears near this cabin, so take the signs seriously about putting trash away.

Minor improvements would make this a 5-star rating. The main bathroom tub drains slowly, leaving water pooled in the tub after a shower. The upstairs bathroom sink has hot water coming out both handles - no cold water.

Overall, this is a very relaxing getaway. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay, great service!

We’ve stayed in many cabins in the Gatlinburg-Sevierville area and even many in The Preserve over the past 30 years . This one ranks up there as one of the best yet. The view is stunning and it’s incredibly homey. Would definitely stay again!
